Due to the geographical proximity and common cultural background of Guangdong,
Hong Kong and Macau, and the rapid development of information technology in
education in these regions, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Conference on
Information Technology in Education has been organized, in turn, in the three

of educators in these regions. This year, the conference will be held in Hong
Kong, with City University of Hong Kong as the main organizer. The objective of
the conference is to promote development of information technology in
education, to provide a forum for educators and researchers to share
experience, and to facilitate academic collaboration between these regions. The
conference will be held on July 4 and July 5, 2008 at City University of Hong
Kong, and will include plenary talks, oral presentations, panel discussions and
project demonstrations. The main audience will be teachers in primary schools,
secondary schools and universities, and educational researchers.
